Multi-Page Navigation for Gravity Forms is a focused Gravity Perks add-on for long, multi-step forms. It suits onboarding flows, quote requests, applications, surveys, and internal data-entry forms where users need to revisit an earlier section without repeatedly clicking the Previous button.

Unlike form builders that replace the entire editing workflow, this perk stays inside Gravity Forms and modifies its existing page navigation. That makes it useful for established WordPress builds: forms, confirmations, notifications, conditional logic, and entry storage remain under Gravity Forms rather than moving into a proprietary wizard system.

Page Steps That Behave Like Actual Navigation

  • Clickable progress steps. Page names in a multi-page form become navigation controls, allowing users to move directly between sections.
  • Direct access to completed pages. Users can return to previously visited steps without walking backward through every intermediate page.
  • Forward-page navigation. The perk can expose later pages as links, subject to the form’s validation and navigation configuration.
  • Gravity Forms-native workflow. Existing Page fields are used; there is no separate visual builder or duplicated form schema to maintain.
  • Validation-aware movement. Required fields and field-level validation remain part of the Gravity Forms submission flow rather than being bypassed by a cosmetic tab interface.
  • Conditional-logic compatibility. Page content still follows Gravity Forms rules, so dynamically shown or hidden fields do not require a second logic engine.
  • Embed independence. The same form can be placed through the Gravity Forms block, shortcode, or supported builder widget. Elementor, Gutenberg, and similar editors handle the embed, not the navigation logic.

This is deliberately a narrow utility. It does not add autosave, conversational form layouts, branching questionnaires, or front-end entry editing. Those jobs require other Gravity Perks, Gravity Forms add-ons, or custom development. It also cannot make an overloaded form fast: hundreds of conditional fields, remote API calls, and heavy third-party scripts remain performance concerns.

There is no native WooCommerce, ACF, or WPML feature layer here. Such integrations may coexist with the form, but this perk only addresses movement between Gravity Forms pages.

Where the Shortcut Earns Its Keep

The add-on makes the most sense on forms whose sections have clear labels: Account, Company Details, Billing, Review, and similar steps. Agencies can use it for client intake forms, while membership and service sites can provide less frustrating application or quotation workflows.

It offers less value for two-page contact forms or strictly linear checkouts where revisiting later steps could confuse pricing and availability calculations. In those cases, standard Previous and Next controls are often clearer.

Configuration Without Template Surgery

Installation follows the normal Gravity Perks model: Gravity Forms and Gravity Perks must be active, then the perk is installed and activated. Navigation is configured against a multi-page Gravity Form built with Page fields. Page titles matter because they become part of the front-end navigation UI.

This is a plugin, not a WordPress theme. It therefore has no Theme Options panel and does not require overrides of header.php, archive.php, or other theme templates. Visual adjustments should normally be handled with scoped CSS in the child theme or site stylesheet. Behavioural changes belong in documented hooks, filters, or a small site-specific plugin rather than edited vendor files.

Its front-end footprint is limited to the navigation feature, although an exact CSS/JS weight depends on the installed release and should be checked in the browser’s Network panel. Theme-specific styling conflicts are still possible, particularly where broad selectors target buttons, progress steps, or links.

Practical Questions Before Deployment

Does it work without Gravity Forms?

No. Gravity Forms is the form engine, and Gravity Perks is required to manage the perk.

Does it create multi-page forms automatically?

No. Page fields and form sections must already be configured in the Gravity Forms editor.

Can it replace save-and-continue functionality?

No. Navigation operates within the current form session; persistent drafts are a separate feature.

Is a child theme required?

Not for installation. A child theme is useful only when durable CSS customization is needed.

Before you send us a support request, take a quick look at our Terms Of Use and FAQs. We know nobody loves reading them, but very often the answer is already there and saves you some time.

What to do first

  1. If that doesn’t help, check the product documentation next.
A lot of small issues come from missed settings or simple setup steps, and the docs usually clear that up pretty fast.
  2. Still not working?
No problem — just open a support ticket and tell us what’s going on. We’ll take it from there.
  3. When to expect a reply
We usually get back to you within 1–2 business days. Sometimes faster, depending on the issue.

How to explain the problem (this really helps)

  • Be specific
Instead of saying “it doesn’t work,” tell us what exactly is going wrong. Which button? Which feature? What were you trying to do when it happened?
  • Add screenshots
Screenshots make a huge difference. Seriously. A simple image (or link to one) helps us understand the issue right away and saves a lot of back‑and‑forth.

Following these steps helps us help you faster — and with fewer questions along the way. Thanks for making support easier for everyone.
